Texas A&M’s Annie Kunz, Lindon Victor start well at Mt. Sac Relays

AZUSA, Calif. — In their first multi-events of the outdoor season, Texas A&M’s Annie Kunz and Lindon Victor produced their best first-day scores in the heptathlon and decathlon, respectively, during the Mt. SAC Relays/California Invitational on Wednesday.

Kunz produced 3,564 points in the heptathlon and is currently second overall and the top collegian among a field of 51 athletes. She only trails professional Nia Ali (3,712).

Victor’s first day score of 4,092 points leads the division of the decathlon he is competing in with a field that started with 18 entries.
