Brenham baseball team cruises past Rudder 10-0

BRENHAM — Brenham’s Ben Bosse pitched a one-hitter, striking out 11 in a 10-0 victory over Rudder in District 19-5A baseball action Tuesday night at Fireman’s Park.

Brenham (19-4, 5-2) scored four runs in the sixth to win via the 10-run rule. The right-hander Bosse, who has signed with Auburn, walked one. Brenham’s Parker Mason hit a pair of homers and drove in five runs. Cade Warmke, Mason Lampe, Jacob Mabie and Bosse each had two hits as Brenham had 12 overall.

Rudder (10-10, 2-5) will host Brenham at 7 p.m. Friday

Fannin Elementary School students in Bryan spent Wednesday painting ceiling tiles that will represent their legacy at the school after they've moved on to intermediate, middle and high school and beyond.
