Mary Dell Mason Owens

Sept. 3, 1926 - Nov. 27, 2005

HEARNE - Services for Mary Dell Mason Owens, 79, of Hearne are set for 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Emanuel Missionary Baptist Church in Hearne.

Burial will be at Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Glenn Mack Funeral Home in Hearne and from 8:30 a.m. to the time of services Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Owens died Sunday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law, Tommie Don and Mittie Mason of Calvert, Michael and Janet Massey of Houston and Sergeon Massey of Hearne; six daughters and three sons-in-law, Brenda Ervin, Rose Mary and Mark Williams, Marsha and Ray Williams, and Felicia Nelson, all of Bryan, Shelia and Alonzo Hammond of Hearne and Deidra Gooden of Arizona; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Rosie Robles

Feb. 25, 1948 - Nov. 30, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Rosie Robles, 57, of Brenham are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Houston National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, and a rosary will be recited at 6:15 p.m.

Mrs. Robles died Wednesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.

Survivors include her husband, David Robles of Brenham; three sons, Tracy Lee Robles of Katy, Randall Scott Guerra of Houston and Rudy Guerra of South Carolina; a daughter, Michelle Leigh Robles of Houston; eight sisters, Lupe Rodriguez of Louise, Gloria Garcia, Frances Soliz and Jo Ann Pena, all of Victoria, and Laura Estrada, Mary Luera, Pearl Riojas and Molly Caballero, all of Ganado; three brothers, Mike Riojas, Fred Riojas and Victor Riojas, all of Ganado; and six grandchildren.

Martin Fred Wiesepape Sr.

Sept. 2, 1917 - Nov. 30, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Martin Fred Wiesepape Sr., 88, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church of Salem.

Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Wiesepape died Wednesday. He served as a trustee for rural Salem schools for several years.

Survivors include his wife, Tekla Wensel Wiesepape of Brenham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Martin Jr. and Betty Ann Wiesepape and Earl Wayne and Betty Jean Wiesepape; a daughter and son-in-law, Delores Ann and Edgar Schroeder; all of Brenham; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church 150th Anniversary Fund or Marcy Schroeder Memorial Bible Camp Fund, c/o Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1500 Salem Road, Brenham, Texas 77833.

Margaret Agnes Dillard Bryan

April 23, 1913 - Nov. 25, 2005

MADISONVILLE - Services for Margaret Agnes Dillard Bryan, 92, of Madisonville are set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at J.M. Day Funeral Home Chapel in Madisonville.

Burial will be in Madisonville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to the time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bryan died Friday at her home. She was a retired registered nurse.

Survivors include several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 120 S. McIver St., Madisonville, Texas 77864; or to a charity of choice.

Martha Lee Williams

Jan. 3, 1923 - Nov. 28, 2005

NAVASOTA - Services for Martha Lee Williams, 82, of Navasota are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Stonehamville United Methodist Church in Stoneham.

Burial will be at Stoneham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday at Psalms Chapel in Navasota.

Mrs. Williams died Monday.

Survivors include six sons, Robert Williams Jr., James Williams, Joe Williams, Tyree Williams, Benny Williams and Oscar Williams; five daughters; Martha Williams, Mattie Holcomb, Shirley Davis, Sandra Ware and Vera Hawthorne; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Eva Harris

March 9, 1967 - Nov. 24, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Eva Harris, 38, of Chappell Hill are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Chappell Hill.

Burial will be at Carlie Cemetery in Chappell Hill. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham.

Mrs. Harris died Nov. 24.

Survivors include her mother, Rosie Tucker of Chappell Hill; her grandmother, Odessa Harris of Chappell Hill; two brothers, Lonnie Harris of Brenham and Lonnie Odoms III of Houston; two sisters, Sharlotte Odoms of Houston and Yolanda Odoms of Louisiana; and numerous relatives and friends.

Ervin Davis

April 16, 1939 - Nov. 27, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Ervin Davis, 66, of Somerville are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at 2nd Street Baptist Church in Somerville.

Burial will be at Somerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham.

Mr. Davis died Sunday.

Survivors include his parents, Noris and Inez Davis of Somerville; a son, Ervin Davis Jr.; a daughter, Kimberly Davis; a stepson, Lonnie Davis; a sister, Mattie D. Taplin; two brothers, Walsh Davis and Harry Lee Davis, both of Houston; 11 grandchildren; four nephews; seven nieces; and numerous other relatives.

Christian Ray Butler

Nov. 29, 2005

BRENHAM - Graveside services for Christian Ray Butler, infant, of Chappell Hill are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Sample Lane Cemetery in Chappell Hill.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham.

Christian died Tuesday.

Survivors include his parents, William Butler and Natasha Washington; and his grandparents, Theresa Coleman and Johnnie Butler.

Ann Smith

Jan. 13, 1920 - Dec. 1, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Ann Smith, 85, of Burton are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.

Burial will be at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith died Thursday.

Survivors include her husband, A.W. Smith of Burton; a son and daughter-in-law, Don and Dee-Dee Smith of Brenham; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of St. John's United Church of Christ in Burton.

J.W. Maddox

NAVASOTA - Services for J.W. Maddox, 73, of Anderson are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Willowhole Cemetery Chapel in North Zulch.

Burial will be at Willowhole Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota.

Mr. Maddox died Thursday in Anderson. He was a barber.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ellie Maddox of Sealy; and a sister, Vada Jarvis of Carlos.

Melba Faye Adams

Oct. 31, 1928 - Nov. 29, 2005

NORMANGEE - Services for Melba Faye Adams, 77, of Normangee are set for 10 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Flynn.

Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery in Leon County. Arrangements are under the direction of Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.

Ms. Adams died Tuesday at her home. She was retired from Nucor Steel.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Alton Duard and Kathleen Adams of Normangee; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nephews.

John F. Sontag

Jan. 22, 1927 - Nov. 30, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for John F. Sontag, 78, of Burton are set for 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Brenham Memorial Chapel.

Burial will be at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Sontag died Wednesday at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Gray Sontag of Burton; a son and daughter-in-law, Johnnie Jr. and Sonia Sontag of Del Rio; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Dena Gale Williams of Burton, Zena Dale and Tom Fisher of College Station and Janice and Curtis Smith of Baytown; a brother, Charlie Sontag of Burton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Harry Wellmann

Aug. 25, 1921 - Nov. 30, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Harry Wellmann, 84, of Brenham are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville.

Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham.

Mr. Wellmann died Wednesday.

Survivors include his wife, Lenora Remmert Wellmann of Brenham; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Jean and Robert Wayne Kohring of Brenham; four sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Ray and Diana Wellmann, Glenn Dean Wellmann, Harvey Lee Wellmann and Anthony Wellmann, all of Brenham; a sister, Lonnie Addicks; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Raymond and Carrie Wellmann, Robert and Selma Wellmann and Ernest and Earline Wellmann; four sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Alice Remmert, Harold and Elizabeth Remmert, Art and Laverne Remmert and Willie Mae Ramsey; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Seretta Faye Lewis Manuel

April 23, 1950 - Nov. 26, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Seretta Faye "Aunt Rita" Lewis Manuel, 55, of Brenham are set for 2:30 p.m. Saturday at New Life Church of God.

Burial will be at Harris Spring Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Independent Missionary Baptist Church in Brenham. A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham.

Mrs. Manuel died Saturday. She was a retired nurse.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Derrick Lewis and Terrence and June Manuel of Brenham; a daughter and son-in-law, Tamieka Manuel Jackson and Carlos Jackson of Austin; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael and Cynthia Lewis of Prairie View, Emmitt Lewis Jr. of Hempstead, Larry Lewis of Colorado and Robert Lewis of Houston; six sisters and a brother-in-law, Shirley, Denia, Carol and Brenda Lewis Payne, all of Brenham, Barbara Lewis Brown and Charles Solomon of Houston, and LaVerna Foster of Colorado; six grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.

Jae'don D. Shun Osborne

June 30, 2003 - Nov. 27, 2005

BRENHAM - Services for Jae'don D. Shun Osborne, 2, of Washington are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Baptist Church in Navasota.

Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham. Burial will be at Roger Cemetery in Washington.

Jae'don died Sunday.

Survivors include his parents, Marquita and James Osborne of Washington; two brothers, Jae'Vion and Jae' Coby Osborne; his grandparents, Cinderella Baker of Navasota, Kerry Wheatful and Myron Linsley, both of Houston, and Annette and James Osborne Sr. of Ypsilanti, Mich.; his great-grandfather, Alvin Baker of Washington; his great-grandmother, Verdell Osborne of Washington; and numerous other relatives.

Wilbur Glenn Ferris

Dec. 15, 1923 - Dec. 1, 2005

Services for Wilbur Glenn Ferris, 81, of College Station are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Funeral Chapel College Station.

Burial will be at College Station Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ferris died Thursday. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and Texas A&M University.

Survivors include his wife, Lena Grey Faught of College Station; a son, William Glenn Ferris of Seattle; three daughters, Dr. Elizabeth Grey Ferris of Geneva, Mary Susan Ferris of Nacogdoches and Anne Ferris Self of Sour Lake; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church in College Station.

Gloria Vivian Perkins Hickerson

Aug. 4, 1944 - Nov. 30, 2005

HEARNE - Services for Gloria Vivian Perkins Hickerson, 61, of Dallas are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Antioch Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas.

Burial will be at Greater Riverside Cemetery in Hearne. Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at Glenn Mack Funeral Home in Hearne and from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Hickerson died Wednesday. She was a retired beautician.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Leta B. and Eric M. Womack of Fort Worth; a brother-in-law, Webster Williams of Sweetwater; three grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
