SOMERVILLE - Services for Lois McGregor Hill, 82, of Somerville and formerly of Baytown are set for 3 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Somerville. Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville.
Mrs. Hill died Tuesday at St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. She was a teacher for 22 years for the Somerville school district.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Hill of Somerville; two daughters, Judy Hill and her partner, Chantel Landry, both of Dallas, and Darlas Hill McCauley of Highlands; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Woody and Kathy Jasper of High Springs, Fla., and John Robert Hill of Baytown; four grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Somerville, Oaklawn Cemetery Association or Somerville Historical Society.
Willie Peterson Jr.

Services for Willie Peterson Jr., 83, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Burial will be at Rest-Ever Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Daniel & Son Funeral Home in Bryan. A wake service will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Peterson died Saturday at Sherwood Health Care Center. He retired from International Shoe Company and the Bryan school district. Mr. Peterson had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Peterson of Bryan; five sons, Tommie Lee Green of Bryan, Bennie Green, James Peterson, Willie Peterson and Donald Peterson, all of Houston; three daughters, Diane Peterson Smith, Bobbie Peterson, both of Bryan, and Bobbie Joe Henderson of Brenham; two brothers, Charles Ray Peterson and Melvin Peterson, both of Los Angeles; two sisters, Juanita McGee of Waco and Carolyn Peterson Benton of Los Angeles; 22 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

BRENHAM - Services for Mary L. "Mee Maw" Johnson-Brown, 60, of Madisonville are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Pool Chapel Baptist Church in Madisonville.
Burial will be at West End Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Home in Madisonville.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home in Brenham.
Mrs. Johnson died Wednesday at Conroe Hospital. She was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, L.J. BREMOND - Services for Marion Theodore Slafka, 80, of Bremond are set for 11 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Burial will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bremond. Arrangements are under the direction of Bremond Funeral Home.
Mr. Slafka died Tuesday. He was a retired maintainer operator for the Texas Department of Transportation. He had served in the U.S. Army.

Mr. Edwards died May 5 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston.

Mr. Grays died May 4. He had worked for the railroad. Mr. Grays also served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Green of Bryan; four brothers, Robert Grays Jr., Edward Lee Grays, Joe Grays and Thomas Grays, all of Bryan; three sisters, Deborah Hunter of Bryan and Candis Grays and Connie Grays, both of Houston; his parents, Robert and Emma Grays of Bryan; and one grandchild.
