Knife River, working for the City of Bryan, will have subcontractors working on the Sims Avenue and West 31st Street intersection starting today to prepare for installation of sewer line for the Bryan Avenue and Beck Street rehabilitation project.

City officials said drivers should be cautious of workers and traffic control measures in the area.

On Thursday the intersection will be closed for the day to replace the existing sewer line. During the closure motorists will be detoured along 29th Street and Bryan Avenue to avoid the intersection.
