World War II, Korean and Vietnam War veteran George Ruth, 93, took a ride in a half-track vehicle with his son, Army Col. Stephen Ruth, during History in Motion at the Museum of the American GI in College Station on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021. George Ruth turned 93 years old on Nov. 14. He fought in the 93rd Infantry Division, a segregated unit, which existed in the United States Army in World War I and World War II. Activities for the event included vehicle and weapons demonstrations, military vehicle displays and tank rides.
