The Brazos Valley's 211 service has received its reaccreditation after a lengthy review process, officials announced Tuesday.

The nonprofit telephone service of United Way provides information and referrals to seven counties in the Brazos Valley. It received the accreditation from a national agency based on pages of applications and an extensive site visit to its headquarters.

"The accreditation indicates that 211 Texas and United Way of the Brazos Valley adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and delivery of information and referral services," said Kay Parker, vice president of community impact of United Way of the Brazos Valley.
