Brazos Valley volunteers will be served an especially large treat at Post Oak Mall on Saturday, when the largest cookie in the history of the area is offered up for consumption.
The cookie, which was made by the Great American Cookie Co. and measures 13 feet by 16 feet, will be cut into slices and sold for $1 each to benefit the March of Dimes, Walk America.
In addition to the cookie sale, 17 local volunteer organizations will be at the mall to promote volunteerism and provide information about their groups.
The event, dubbed Community Awareness Day, will be from noon to 4 p.m. The cookie will be put on display at 11 a.m.
