St. Paul Baptist Church in Hearne is hosting several musical guests at services this weekend, including Diane Martel and Chosen Generation, Desire Choir, the Williamette Gospel Singers and Family of Praise. The Rev. Eddie Thomas of Trinity Baptist Church in Hearne will be the guest speaker at Saturday's 7 p.m. service. Pastor Michael Henry of South New Hope Baptist Church in Franklin will be the guest speaker for Sunday's 4:30 p.m. service. St. Paul Baptist Church is at 702 W. 6th St.


North Bryan New Birth Baptist Church will join the congregation of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church for Sunday services. North Bryan New Birth Baptist Church will resume regular Sunday services July 22. New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church is at 3200 W. 28th St. in Bryan. For more information, call 774-4228.


The Congregation Beth Shalom Sisterhood's monthly meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. Monday at the home of Loraine Cline. The meeting will include an ice cream social. For more information and directions, call 846-5258.


First United Methodist Church, 1125 Wellborn Road in College Station, will host its ninth annual Women's Conference from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 28. The conference will feature speaker Shirley Payton of North Bryan New Birth Baptist Church. The public is invited, and guests are encouraged to dress comfortably. Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 804 N. Logan Ave. in Bryan, will have a prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday featuring speaker Betty Burns from Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles.
