Brazos Valley TROUPE will mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley with Long Live the King! from Aug. 17-19 as an introduction to an ambitious 2007-2008 season.
Presley died Aug. 16, 1977, in Memphis, Tenn.
Long Live the King! performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17-18, and 3 p.m. Aug. 19. Brazos Valley TROUPE's theater is located at 3705 E. 29th St. in Bryan.
The season officially opens with Ladies Night, an all-female revue, which will run from Sept. 21-23. The next production is a tribute to Carol Burnett, which is Oct. 12-14.
Gaming and song will be combined for Viva Las Vegas on Oct. 18-20.
TROUPE revisits one of its most successful production with Schoolhouse Rock Live Junior Nov. 9-11 and 16-17.
The annual onstage Christmas party will be held Dec. 14-16.
The works of Texas playwright Carl Williams will be showcased in Carl's Corner, which runs from Jan. 25-27. The Ebony Overtures production will be Brazos Valley TROUPE's celebration of Black History Month. The show is Feb. 1-3.
From March 6-9, TROUPE's Manhattan Melodies presents the best of Broadway both old and new.
TROUPE's Youth Corps spoofs television in Channel Surfing on April 4-6 and 11-12, followed by Broadway Jukebox.
Dates for the production will be determined at a later date.
A busy summer will have MusicAmericana! June 26-29, Annie Junior July 11-13 and 18-19 and Play Ball! on Aug. 29-31.

The works of artists James Prevost and Saladino Krc will be on exhibit Monday through Aug. 30 in the Texas Gallery in the P. David Romei Arts Center, 2275 Dartmouth St. in College Station.
A reception for the artists will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 9. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays to Thursdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays.
The Theatre Company will host auditions for Grease! at 7 p.m. Sunday and Monday at the theatre in the Tejas Center, located near the intersection of Texas Avenue and Villa Maria Road in Bryan.
Performance dates for the musical will be Sept. 7-9, 14-16 and 21-23.
