Eagle staff report

The Old Bryan City Hall, now called the 1929 Bryan Municipal Building, will be honored with a National Register Historical Marker at a ceremony on Thursday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m.

The building, now home to The Children’s Museum of the Brazos Valley, is located at 111 E. 27th St.

The old city hall building was built in 1929 by Giesecke and Harris. It was the first building in the area with an exterior made entirely of cast stone.
