Eagle staff report
A New Hampshire man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of drunken driving after police spotted his pickup heading the wrong way on University Drive.
College Station officers stopped Damian Jude Rattigan, 44, at about 12:30 a.m. after seeing his Dodge Ram pickup facing east while in the westbound lane at Texas Avenue, police reports state.
Rattigan also is accused of crossing back and forth between lanes after turning south on Texas, according to reports. He was arrested after failing a field sobriety test.
Rattigan was charged with driving while intoxicated and taken to the Brazos County Jail. He was released later in the day after posting $3,000 bail.
