A&M students can buy road tickets starting Saturday: Texas A&M student tickets for road games and the game against Arkansas in Arlington will go on sale at 8 a.m. Saturday at the north end of Kyle Field.

The Eagle had the wrong day listed in Thursday's paper.

A student must hold a sports card, an all-sports option or football-only option to purchase tickets to away games.

Students who have not purchased the all-sports or football-only ticket options also may do that at the ticket windows at the north end of Kyle Field. The all-sports option is $325 and the football-only option is $199.50.

Monday is the standard day for seniors and graduate students who have the sports card option to pull tickets for the Aggies' season opener against New Mexico on Sept. 5 at Kyle Field. Juniors follow on Tuesday, sophomores on Wednesday and freshmen on Thursday.

Also, A&M graduates from 1999-2009 can purchase tickets to the New Mexico game at half price. There is a limit of four tickets. When ordering, use the class year (1999 for example) as the promotion code. For more ticket information go online at or call 1-888-99-AGGIE (888-992-4443) or 845-2311.

Aggies to host Purdue: The sixth-ranked Texas A&M will host Purdue at 8 p.m. Friday at the Aggie Soccer Stadium.

Purdue (2-0-0) enters Friday's match having outscored its opponents 7-1 in the opening weekend. The Boilermakers are receiving votes in the NSCAA/adidas Top 25. Big 10 Offensive Player of the Week Jessica Okoroafo scored three goals for Purdue last week.

The gates will open 90 minutes prior to kickoff and fans are encouraged to arrive early in anticipation of a projected capacity crowd.

Parking is free and is available in the Reed Arena parking lots. For added convenience, there are now two entrances on the north end of the stadium.
