The No. 17-ranked Texas A&M men's tennis team will face its third top five opponent in four matches when it travels to face No. 4-ranked Texas in the State Farm Lone Star Showdown at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Penick-Allison Tennis Center in Austin.
The Aggies (15-8, 4-2) have won the last two meetings against the Longhorns (18-3, 5-1). Both matches happened in the regular season in 2005 and 2004. A&M has won two of the last three regular season meetings in Austin.
It marks the final regular season match for both teams. Texas is tied with Baylor at 5-1 in the Big 12 Conference standings while A&M and Colorado are tied at 4-2.
