Texas A&M falls to No. 11

The Texas A&M women’s basketball team slipped two spots to No. 11 in this week’s Associated Press Top 25.

A&M (14-3, 3-1 in the Southeastern Conference) lost to Tennessee, which also beat LSU and moved up a spot to No. 6.

South Carolina (16-0, 4-0) is No. 1 for the eighth straight week while Notre Dame dropped out of the Top 5 for the first time in 29 weeks. Notre Dame is seventh after losing at Miami.

Connecticut is second followed by Baylor, Louisville, Texas, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Maryland, Oregon State and Kentucky.
